How much can a student project cost? How long is it likely to take until the project is funded?
Your request must cost at least $100, and there is no maximum limit. That said, the less expensive a project, the likelier it is to be funded. The vast majority of projects under $400 have been funded within 3 months, while projects costing over $1,000 have a much lower success rate of ever receiving full funding.
If the resources you need cost over $1,000, you might consider breaking up your needs into 2-3 related projects (i.e., "Classroom Library Part I" and "Classroom Library Part II.") If you do this, students must still benefit from the materials if just one of those projects is funded and not the other.
