Teacher FAQs

I opened a new account but never got the registration email. What do I do?

We apologize for any inconvenience! If your email address is correct and you have not received the confirmation email, most likely it is because it is being blocked by a spam filter or routed into a spam folder.

  • Please add "no-reply@donorschoose.org," "mailer@donorschoose.org," "customerservice@donorschoose.org" and "submitting@donorschoose.org" to your list of preferred senders and/or your address book.
  • Then, go back to DonorsChoose.org. Click on "My Account." Enter your log-in information under returning users.
  • A red error message will appear at the top of the screen. Click on the link that will send a new copy of your confirmation email. You'll be taken to a new screen. Enter your email address and click submit. When you receive the email, click on the link to complete your registration.
  • If you still do not receive the confirmation email after changing your settings and re-sending it, you may need to re-register with a different email address. Some email services block our automatic emails, and you might need to register a new account.
