Anyone can be a member of the The Glittermat Laundry Room just by donating to this fan group's Giving Page! Our founder, known as 80's Mom, created a lively and smartly funny thread at Adam's official fan site known as "Adam Do My Laundry", about how distracted fans had become upon Adam's arrival ! It is also a virtual, caring, community of Adam Lambert fans from all walks of life. They share their own creative contributions, at their own pace, in this long-running thread, which began during Adam's early weeks on Idol. Rumor has it that Adam himself has enjoyed reading our posts! A few months ago, 80sMom received an autographed detergent box cover that says, "80'sMoms-Good Luck with all the Loads!", much to her surprise! In honor of our founder, we would like to encourage donors in this group to please consider donating to projects that are related to her home areas. These include New Orleans, La. and the Mississippi Gulf Coast region, but we are also including surrounding Gulf Coast communities just across the state line that are all still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina. However, projects in all areas are in need, and all donations will be appreciated. We are proud to join Adam in this charitable project, and invite you to join with us - you don't need to have visited the Laundry Room community thread at Adam Official.com to join in--and to give generously!
