Now there is an easy way to help Springfield public school teachers.
Started in June 2008 by alumni from Classical High School (Class of ’57), this fund has helped local Springfield teachers obtain over $35,000 for classroom projects. Now alumni from other Springfield schools are joining to continue the success of this community wide program.
With 50% matching funds (available for many projects) from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, each new dollar donated by alumni like YOU has the potential of being doubled!
Be a friend to your “favorite teacher” and tell others to join this wave of “citizen philanthropy” from Springfield public school alumni, local residents and business partners along with community foundations.
Our goal is to make this a continuing benefit for all students in the Springfield school system.
Every donor thanked. Donation is tax-deductible.
