Finding Nemo's Ecosystem

My project needs a twenty gallon marine aquarium with the filters, net, salt, hydrometer, heater, thermometer, gravel, instruction booklet, hood, and lighting. We also need eleven marine fish to populate our aquarium.

Ahoy, mates! My fourth grade classroom is located in a small urban school. I am responsible for teaching various subjects including science. We want to rock the curriculum boat. The enrichment opportunities for my students are limited. Our school is small and has limited funds for special projects. I would like to provide them with the opportunity to observe "Nemo" in his own ecosystem. Our reading textbook and our science textbook have units about the sea. I'd like to empower the students with a real life experience that they can connect to what they read. They could have the opportunity to directly observe marine life and learn about the differences between fresh and saltwater ecosystems right in their own classroom. This project would also apply our state standards that address scientific observation. This project needs the aquarium and all the supplies to support marine life. It also should include the marine organisms and fish for our saltwater community. Make some waves! You can support scientific learning and enrich the classroom environment through your support.
