"As the population of the area is exceeding we are in need of additional supplies. Graphing calculators are part of the SC standards in Algebra 1 and Math Tech 1. We try very hard to provide the calculators for all students, because of the cost per calculator, but we are at a point where the student growth is exceeding the funds of our department. Students have their hands on these calculators every day in the classroom and have the chance to discover various methods of learning. To better engage them in the learning process and get them ready for their futures it would be helpful if we had enough TI-83 plus-edition graphing calculators for the students to get acquainted with. I am asking for five calculators to get this trend started.

These calculators are going to arrive just at the right time! I cannot send enough "thank yous" from my students and myself. We are in such need of new calculators and this is a great start. In the era we are living technology is the key to success and with these calculators we can spread the knowledge. Thank you again. The students will be so excited to know that someone out there is giving them the opportunity to have new materials to use.
