" I'm a third grade teacher in an urban school to 28 students. Like most teachers, I want the best for my students academically as well as physically. I'm requesting a new carpet for our reading center. My students love to gather at the reading center as a large or sometimes small group and sit close together to hear each word said and read.

However, our current rug has to go! It is ripped along an entire edge and although there are no major stains, I'm sure that there are millions of dust mites, germs, and allergens. I wouldn't want anyone to get sick (or dirty). Overall, it does not look the pretty green it used to be. The carpet I'm requesting is slightly larger, much softer, and has a bright, colorful United States map. So, it's educational too! I think my students are going to love and appreciate it. I know they deserve it.

Wow! Thank you so very much. I am so excited about getting this carpet. My students will love everything about it. The feel, the look, and the fact that it is clean! This will truly revitalize my reading center in a wonderful way. Your generosity is much appreciated and my class will be eager to show you.
