"I teach music at a school that is being converted to a year round school for next year. This conversion will be good in many ways but it also presents us with many challenges. One of our biggest challenges is figuring out a schedule for special areas (music, art, and PE) that will best meet the needs of our students.

We have come up with a good idea that would involve a rotation where classes will take turns getting an extra music class. For this extra day I want to plan activities that are educational but very fun-things that we don't normally do so that the students will think it is really cool to get to come to their extra music class.

One of the things I would like to do is play music games that reinforce the concepts that they are learning about. There are Bingo games that help students with identifying music styles, famous composers, instruments, melodies and pitches. These games come in a kit which includes 10 games that cover different concepts and topics. I think these games would be great to have in my classroom. They would be used by the whole school, which will be over 1000 students in grades K-5 next year. I think this will be a great way to reinforce the musical concepts that we are learning about without being repetitive. The kids will love it and will be so excited when it is their turn to come to the extra music class!

The cost of Music Bingo Game CD version set is $433, including shipping and fulfillment ?.

Dear Anil, Sarah G, Judy, Mr. Spruill and Mr. Leake,
Thank you so much for your donation of music bingo games to my classroom! I am so excited to use these games to enhance instruction and learning for my students. These games will be a great, fun way to reinforce concepts we are learning in music class. Thanks again for your generosity.
