My students need to money learning games to understand how and why money matters!

My Students

Money can buy clothes, candy, and lots of other enjoyable things. Please help my students understand why MONEY MATTERS!

My students love anything they can get their hands on!

They are excited about math, and obviously being able to use and count money. They are currently needing to work on making change, and how to use money with number stories. We live in a rural town.

My Project

These resources will be used for whole group instruction, independent seat work, and small group centers. I will be able to pick a game that is appropriate for each group depending on the skill that they are needing to work on. The big skill for right now is learning how to make exact change with different dollars and coins.

Not all of my students get the chance to practice using money in their homes.

I would love to be able to give them more practice using money correctly, so that they can effectively use it their entire lives.
