Lego My Cheyenne History

My students need 5 sets of Lego bricks to create models of historical Cheyenne buildings and landmarks.

My Students

As the capital city of our state, our city holds a special significance in United States history. Students in our city are required to learn about the history of our city as part of their Social Studies curriculum. I would like to inspire interest in our city's history!

My students are third-graders in a Wyoming public school.

They love hands-on learning and respond well when given a choice about what they are learning. Many of them play with Legos at home and will be delighted to have a chance to build with them during Social Studies!

My Project

I am requesting several bulk sets of Lego blocks for my students to build models of historical Cheyenne buildings. They will use photos and reading material to help them plan their project and will write about their building or landmarks historical significance. We will invite friends and family to view our Lego museum of Cheyenne history when the projects are complete!

I cannot wait to give my students this awesome hands-on experience and spark their interest in Cheyenne's history!
