I teach a group of 20 kindergarten students at a brand new public charter school in Ohio.
My class is filled with students who love to learn and explore new things. These children enjoy learning most through interactive activities and centers. I am a first year teacher and have minimal resources, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
My Project
My students would benefit from having these bullying books and literacy tools in our classroom. The children's books would be helpful so that the students can hear stories about bullying that they can relate to. The stories will provide them with examples of bullying and preventative strategies. The sight word kit will give them the opportunity to work with high frequency words to build their literacy skills. The iPod nano will give them the opportunity to hear anti bullying stories at our new listening area!
Your donation will help the students learn about bullying and and how to treat others appropriately.
Teaching these Kindergarten students about bullying will be extremely beneficial for them in life. Any donation toward our project would be greatly appreciated.
