Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember being fascinated by Ancient Greece and Rome, ancient Egyptology, and faraway India and China? My students love doing projects to learn about the ancient world, and more supplies will help in their discoveries.

Our school is a wonderful microcosm of students from all over Los Angeles.

We are incredibly geographically, economically, and ethnically diverse. We have students from so many different backgrounds, all coming together to learn together and from each other! Thank you for supporting our wonderful learning community!

My Project

Having papyrus samples and Chinese coins will give students access to important artifacts of the different cultures we are studying. Supplies like pencils and scissors will enable students to have the things they need in class. Biographies of influential individuals will provide students with a unique perspective. Students will learn about just a few of the individuals who helped make human history.

I have over 200 students who are budding historians.

They deserve an amazing classroom experience, where different modalities of learning are used and where history comes alive! Basic supplies and hands-on opportunities to see artifacts up close will delight and inform the students. Thank you so much for your support!
