This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are facing a digital age and many have never used video technology in school to express their learning. This is a powerful tool that will help students to become creative and expressive scientists!

We are in a very low-income area of California.

Our students face many struggles in their education. They are constantly being pushed to improve their scores on the standardized tests. They need to see education as fun and not just work that they are "no-good at."

My Project

My students need 3 Kodak digital cameras and 3 memory cards to record themselves doing presentations and to create visual presentations of their learning in my physical science class. These two Kodak Easy Share Cameras will be used for many projects in my science classes over the years. Your donation will help many students enjoy science. They will record themselves doing presentations and newscasts. They will be able to photograph their science projects for science fairs and essays. It will help them learn ways to present their learning expressively, positively, and clearly and have fun doing it!

I teach science to over 130 students each year.

This donation will benefit so many students here. My students will enjoy presenting their work instead of fear doing presentations! Please consider us with your valued donation.
