My Students

Have you ever sat in the school auditorium wondering what the student actors were saying? This happens often in our school auditorium. To remedy this situation, we now have hands-free microphones so our quietest actors can be heard. Now all we need are some speakers, so voices can be amplified.

I teach an amazing group of fifth grade students.

They are talented, happy, and love to participate in projects. We will be performing a class play this June and need speakers to use in our school auditorium, so our audience can hear our class perform. I teach at a Title I school in southern California. Close to 50% of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced lunches. We are a multicultural school that prides itself on great academic learning, high test scores, and lots of creative projects that use critical thinking skills.

My Project

Our school has a very small stage, but when students perform, the house is packed! We have performances for students, and an evening performance for the parents. With the speakers, speaker wire, and Gaffers tape I am requesting, students and parents in the audience will be able to hear all or our actors clearly perform in our school auditorium. The hands-free microphones and the speakers will be used every year for our performances in the auditorium. Your help in supporting this project is greatly appreciated!

When I cast our play, I chose some of the best roles for very quiet speakers.

I knew that their vocal level would not be an issue because of our new hands-free microphones. Help us complete our sound system with a pair of speakers to amplify all of our actors' voices.
