My Students

Who is that person and what did you say we were going to learn about? Due to lack of resources students have not had the opportunities to learn about famous Americans or topics that fourth grades should know about.

The students within my classroom attend a low poverty school where several of them are expected to help take care of younger siblings so their parents can work multiple jobs.

My 21 students are so eager to learn about any topic we discuss they are sad when we have to move on because they want to learn more.

My Project

Students will be able learn about famous Americans and other various topics. These books will help students have a better understanding of how individuals, similar to them, were able to find success by trying their best at everything they did. There are many topics that my students have not been exposed to due to lack of computers in homes or resources to teach them.

With the support of this project donors will be helping expand the knowledge these students have not had the opportunity to learn about and due to classroom time, teachers are not able to cover all topics.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
