My Students

Smile! Click! Good deeds shouldn't go unnoticed! Our building would like to create a showcase to display pictures of students who exhibit school PRIDE--positive attitude, respect, involvement, discipline, and empathy towards others.

Students in grades 6-8 attend a middle school in our small, rural community.

For many, good deeds go unnoticed as attention is often times drawn toward those who display inappropriate behaviors. Calling attention to good kids doing good things through creative displays around our school will allow them to become positive role models for their peers. A new digital camera will empower students to look for good things, do good things, and inspire good things!

My Project

With teacher supervision, students will be able to take pictures of their peers demonstrating exemplary habits, such as helping others, studying, reading, participating in group activities, and keeping their school clean. Pictures taken with the new digital camera can be printed and displayed in a showcase. By acknowledging positive characteristics, other students will join the "Good Kids Club" to make their school great. Doing good things can become contagious!

A digital camera will provide students with learning and motivating experiences they would not otherwise have.

Our school currently does not have a camera for this purpose. We would like to make this unique opportunity available to them!
