My Students

Do you remember curling up in a corner of the couch and reading your favorite book? What about snuggling in your blankets at night and reading with a flashlight? I want my students to have cozy, fond memories of reading.

My students would read all day, every day if I let them.

They always want to visit our classroom library and find a new book to enjoy. They are very curious and interested in the world around them. Throughout the day, they want to read about new concepts they have learned or imagine the adventures of their favorite character. Unfortunately, our seats are hard and uncomfortable. There is nowhere for us to snuggle up and enjoy our favorite books.

My Project

A carpet and bean bag chairs will give my students a cozy reading corner. They will be able to snuggle up with a good book and not have a sore back at the same time. The bean bag chairs will offer a comfortable reading spot while the carpet will help create an inviting, educational environment.
