Help Our Students Build Good Character Traits and Combat Bullying

My students need books to help support anti-bullying, including the book, Bullying in Schools, and books to build positive character traits for the students in my classroom.

My Students

"Be the change you want to see in the world," Mahatma Gandhi said, and my students apply this in my classroom every single day. My students face many challenges at home, and outside of school.

My classroom is very diverse, and I have several students who primarily speak a language other than English at home.

My students often come from large working families who are able to provide little for their children educationally. I would like my students' learning experience to be positive so that all of my students become lifelong learners.

My Project

Often students do not learn good behavior, or build positive character traits at home. I want to help my students learn good manners and behavior. Learning good behavior and exhibiting good character traits will help my students be productive citizens later in life. The books I am requesting, including the book, Bullying in Schools, will help prevent bullying, and inspire my students to build good character traits.

The resources I am requesting are vital because our school does not provide us with any character education resources.

Being a good citizen is a vital part of being successful later on in life. Without good character traits or social skills, my students may struggle as adults.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
