Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine being in a class room where everything has limited access for you. Well that is what many of my students face on a daily basis. So be that channel that can create limitless potential for my students by providing that bridge to literature. Give them access to the world of reading.

My students are amazing 3rd graders that motivate and inspire me to come to work ready to teach everyday!

I teach in an inner city, low income, Title 1 affiliated charter school with the most enthusiastic kids who come ready to learn with a positive attitude. With many having a variety of hardships at home, school is a positive place to be where they can grow, learn, and achieve success. I want to provide the best learning environment I can for my wonderful students.

My Project

With so many of my students having such a diverse and individualized area of need having a listening library and carpets to provide small group time allows the students to greater access to learning they are otherwise unable to receive when in whole class learning situations.

Just remember how vital it is for all children to receive a proper education that will be the foundation for them to lead productive lives in the future.

Your gift will allow my students this opportunity. The children we create this bridge for now will be our future caretakers and leaders.
