This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine going to an electronic store with numerous TVs on different channels. It is very difficult to focus your attention and gather information from one TV. This is what it sounds like to the children while trying to learn in the computer lab!

We are a pre k through fourth grade public, charter school in Texas.

Our students consist of a very diverse Title 1 population. We currently serve over 400 children and will add fifth grade next year. Our students are enthusiastic about learning and look forward to visiting the computer lab daily!

My Project

We have access to several educational computer programs that the students will be able to properly utilize with the help of sturdy headphones. These headphones would allow the students to receive individualized enrichment in both reading and math, which are both highly important for their educational success.

The headphones are very important to all of our students.

Those students who have trouble focusing or have different learning styles would greatly benefit from using headphones with the individualized computer programs. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
