The art supplies in our classroom need an overhaul.
My class is in a Title 1 school in South Carolina.
The students have special needs and the grades range from Kindergarten-5th grade. They love to draw and make crafts. Art in the classroom is used as a way for them to express themselves as well as work on fine and gross motor skills.
My Project
The use of the art supplies will enrich my students' daily involvement with the arts. The crayons and glue sticks will be used on many daily activities. The paint supplies will be used to create their own individual art. The storage keeper will be used to store all of their wonderful arts and crafts.
My students have several goals they work on everyday.
If you support this project, you will be providing students with special needs an opportunity to progress and eventually achieve some of their goals with the use of the crayons or paint. The glue sticks and construction paper along with the storage keeper will be used to modify any assignments necessary to achieve the individual goals.
