My students need a color printer and ink to make easy readers and centers to increase learning.

My Students

Remember when TV was in black and white? It was amazing when they came out with color TVs! Well kids today are just as amazed with things that are in color instead of black and white. My grade level needs a color printer to make easy reader books and centers in color.

My students are economically disadvantaged.

They do not have hardly anything at home to learn with. When they come to school, it is the first time they are being exposed to things such as centers and reading. I have bought book after book for the library center and they do not like them as much as the books I make on the computer. I need a color printer to print out these books with colorful pictures for the kids to enjoy. I will also use the printer to make colored centers for them to extend their learning.

My Project

I am requesting a color printer and the required accessories in order to print color materials the students will use to learn. The printer will be used by 6 kindergarten classes to make color books that the kids love to read. It will also make color centers to extend the students learning. Both the books and centers will be used by current students and future students. This truly is a great investment for students.

This project is important because we do not have a color printer we are allowed to use on campus.

The kids really enjoy the easy reader books and we need to be able to make them quickly and easily so the students have books they enjoy. We also need to be able to make centers the kids enjoy and the printer will help us do that.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
