My Students

Do you remember what it felt like the first time you saw a picture of yourself posted for others to see? Students need to be celebrated. Displaying pictures of students will build confidence and encourage them to continue to display positive character traits.

We are a urban school filled with 270 students that want to learn and achieve.

They work hard every day to met the requirements of the classroom teacher. They LOVE to be celebrated for modeling the character trait of the month. Ninety-eight percent of our students are on free or reduced lunch.

My Project

This camera will be used to post candid pictures of our students. Each month I introduce and teach a particular character trait. A student is chosen from each class monthly that reflects the character trait of that month. Pictures are taken and posted on a bulletin board in the front hall. Parents, staff, visitors and friends are delighted to see the pictures of our students posted for displaying character traits

Having a camera at school will help to ensure that the pictures are taken on a timely basis and that the pictures are posted for all to enjoy.

This camera will serve 270 students at Raines.
