Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Intrigue our minds with hands-on math materials that are not broken from years of use!

We are a Title One school with a poor economic status.

Our EIP/ESOL class struggles with reading, writing and math concepts. They need encouragement and mental stimulation to stay focused on their goals so they can be on grade level. Math games are a wonderful way to keep students interested in staying in school and becoming life long learners.

My Project

I am asking for fraction dice, fraction stories and a variety of fraction shapes. Using these dice, students will create a variety of fraction games and activities. The Fraction stories have 30 reproducible math tales and problems to reinforce important fraction skills. One set of hands-on fraction materials is a Tutor Box intervention tool for one-on-one or small group instruction. Another requested item is a kit that includes 3 Sets of Deluxe Rainbow Fraction Circles, 3 Sets of Deluxe Rainbow Fraction Squares, 3 Sets of Deluxe Rainbow Fraction Tiles, 3 Sets of Fraction Tower Cubes, Deluxe Rainbow Fraction Circle Flash Cards, Deluxe Rainbow Fraction Square & Decimal Flash Cards and much more. All these manipulatives will help me identify "struggle spots" with my students and then help me provide differentiated activities that address different learning styles and varied abilities in order to help even the most reluctant learners grasp fundamental fraction skills.

My students will realize there are people on the outside that genuinely care about them and their future.

They will be encouraged to reach out to others as you have reached out to them.
