My Students

“The arts are an essential element of education, the arts are the key that unlocks profound human understanding and accomplishment.” –William Bennett, Former US Secretary of Education. Although we are masters of improvise in my Arts classroom, supplies would help unlock so much hidden potential!

I have a wonderful class of ninth grade Fine Arts Survey students.

Many students that come through my doors may not have the means necessary for the development of their artistic creativity, whether it be through theatre, music, dance, or visual art. These wonderful children deserve the opportunity to express their creative inner self, and although we do the best we can, supplies would enhance our experience more than words can express!

My Project

With the requested supplies, the students will be able to further their arts education by applying the skills that they are shown. Although visual representations are nice, hands on tactile activities are the only way to truly experience the arts. With the help of basic art supplies, such as posters, glue, crayons, and paint, we could enhance our learning further than we can with our white copy paper and 6 year old broken crayon pieces. With these supplies my students will truly get the experience they deserve to fully appreciate the arts and help express their inner creativity.
