My Students

My students face the challenge of doing a frog dissection without actual frogs. can you help bring virtual frogs for them to dissect?

My students are seventh grade students of all backgrounds, many of which are ELL students.

They attend a Junior High school in Queens, New York that is in a relatively good area, but receives very little funding. For that reason we do not have money available in my classroom for a smart board. Instead, we need to improvise. We can perform the activity we need to do and some additional ones by projecting what is on a tablet.

My Project

My students are required to do a frog dissection. The only problem is, due to funding and the reluctance of working on real frogs, I decided that it would be best to perform the dissection using a device like a smart board. Due to the expense of a smart board, I feel my students can learn by using a tablet using the same software that a smart board uses. My students would benefit tremendously by seeing the parts of the frog's body without having to get upset by opening up an actual frog.

Please help me perform this operation!
