My Students

You-Tube has become common and useful to students and teachers. In order to help my students understand the importance of video and how to create their own videos, they need camcorders.

My students are 6th graders beginning their first year in middle school.

Many have never had the the experience to use camcorders or create their own movies. My students are used to watching television or videos from You-Tube with little to no understanding how such shows or videos were made.

My Project

In order to teach my students about making videos and editing, they need camcorders to record videos. In creating their own videos, students will also learn valuable skills to use in future endeavors. Students will also learn about the importance of video that can carry into their everyday lives.

Teaching my students about technology usage expands beyond the classroom into how they use and think about technology.

Giving them the hands on experience in using technology, through camcorders, will allow my students to extend their knowledge to their everyday lives and hopefully into their futures. My students need to acquire camcorders to have hands on experiences with technology.
