My Students

Do you remember traveling to far away places through the words of your favorite author as your teacher read your favorite stories aloud? Now is your chance to help give students those same great experiences with great literature!

My students are a fabulous group of children growing up in rural Minnesota!

Students of all economic demographics are represented in our classroom! I ask for donations to our projects to help give all students the same opportunities in my classroom, regardless of their family's economic status. My students are so eager to become great readers and learn how to read this year!

My Project

The books that I am requesting are fantastic classic hardcover books, many of which are award winning books! These are staples for any classroom library! I am requesting hard-cover books so that they can stand the test of time with all the eager learners that are in my class this year, and for years to come! We will be using these books for interactive read alouds to help build our comprehension, fluency, motivation and LOVE of reading!!! By exposing children to these wonderful books, we are helping children to see the joy of reading!!
