My Students

Will our children be prepared to be competitive in the 21st century? Many students in my class have seen an Ipod, but rarely have the opportunity to use one on their own.

My students love technology!

It is our favorite way to learn everyday. Come on, I can't think of anything that could be more fun. I work at a Title 1 school and unfortunately, many students do not even have a computer in their home. Teaching these children how to use technology is going to play such an important role as they grow up. My students are sweet, bubbly, and very excited about learning as much as they can. Opening up a box with Ipods would be a dream come true for us!

My Project

I am requesting 2 Ipods, 2 cases that can be used as a display and a listening center geared towards Ipods. I plan on using these materials to help enhance both my literacy and math centers. The students will be playing learning applications, singing along to songs and listening to stories while tracking print.

What a wonderful way to make a difference in a child's life!

Give a five year old a chance to be technologically savvy. Ipods are very simple to use and can be filled with endless hours of engaging learning experiences. Will you help us? Make our dream come true!
