This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Mrs. Taylor he's on me", "Mrs. Taylor I have no space." Imagine hearing these statements every day on the carpet during circle time.

I have a group of 20 energetic 4 years old's, who love having fun while learning.

My class consist of a majority of African American and Hispanics students. My school is considered a Title 1 school, which means it is a low income area where majority of the students are on free or reduced lunch.

My Project

I am requesting a circle time area rug so that my students can be more comfortable when learning. Circle time is the most important part of the day. This is where students come and meet up while learning together. This rug is where mostly every thing takes place. For example, students sing, dance, play games, have discussions, story-time, and etc. You name it, it happens on the carpet, this is why I call it learning time carpet.

If you want to make a group of young students happy and comfortable while learning, I ask that you help support this project.

Not only will this help my students, you will also be helping put my mind at rest.
