My students need math and science materials such as magnets, color paddles, shape sorting centers, eyedroppers, and feel & discover science bags.

My Students

With literacy being heavily focused on in education, students often go through school with little time to explore important math and science concepts.

Kindergartners enter school without many preconceived notions of there being a limit to what they can learn and explore in the classroom.

They are naturally inquisitive beings who wish to explore everything around them and understand how things work, and it is the educator's responsibility to enable and foster a child's curiosity.

My Project

The magnets and discovery board will be used in a science center where students can explore why some items are magnetic while others are not. The color paddles and eye droppers will be used to explore mixing colors. The Feel & Discovery Science Bags will allow students to practice their observation skills. The math manipulatives will be used to learn key math concepts such as sorting, patterning, number sense, and graphing.

Math and science are crucial to developing children's understanding of the world around them.

With these materials, my students will be able to develop an understanding and love for math and science that will encourage them to become life long learners.
