My Students

I'm getting my kids in touch by using iPod Touches! The increase in technological advances is competing with my students' attention and engagement in everyday learning. With iPod touches, students can get extra help and support all while being engaged in educational material.

Diversity is in my classroom.

My students come from different backgrounds of life and are all at different levels of learning. I want to be able to reach all my students by introducing technology that will be engaging and have the ability to reach all students.

My Project

With an iPod Touch, students will have technology at their fingertips. There are countless applications available that will aid in literacy development. There is something available for EVERYONE to use! Students who need extra support can use animated apps to help them master their letter recognition and sounds. Students can also use more challenging apps to read animated books and stories. The iPod Touch will engage my students in learning in a manner that is culturally relevant to them.

Teachers are in competition with all the technology students have at their finger tips.
