Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Pictures are worth a thousand words, but actual models are worth infinity and more." Can you imagine having access to a fully equipped laboratory right in front of your eyes.
My students are energetic and full of questions that are relevant to real life.
They have grown up in homes where many of these questions are not answered due to lack of knowledge or resources.
My students attend a charter school whose mission is to graduate students from high school prepared for college. The neighboring schools are historically low performing and have low graduation rates. My students have chosen to come to our school for a better education. My students need to be exposed to technology, and a virtual physical science experience.
My Project
In general, the document camera will allow me to do the sort of modeling that is complicated or impractical on a whiteboard, overhead projector or even PowerPoint. In particular, students will be given a more realistic labs and idea.
A document camera will make it so that every time you do a lab or demo, it will be as if I am doing it at every student's individual desk. Let's prepare these students for high school by equipping the next generation with a great tool!!!!
With this document camera my students will perform some amazing and highly interesting scientific experiments and studies.

The document camera will allow the teacher time to show and explain in depth lab and demo. This interactive exploration devise will allow students to solve some perplexing problems and mysteries WE LOVE SCIENCE !!!!!
