This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you seen a child's face on Christmas morning? The face that just beams because Santa was there? This is how my students look when technology is in front of them. Technology gets them excited about learning to the point where they just beam! Imagine a class where students beam about learning!

I work in a Title 1 school in Texas.

My students are very sweet, and love to come to school. I have heard educators in many districts say that it is so difficult to get their students interested and engaged in learning. Well yes, this is true unless you can meet them where their interests are. I have worked very hard to learn about my students' interests this year. One thing I have learned is that my students beam when technology is in front of them. It really gets them excited about learning!

My Project

If we have these iPod touches in our room, I can use them to engage my students in learning in just about all subject areas while differentiating their learning. One student could be working on basic addition facts while another is learning more advanced math. With the ability to do this, every one of my students could grow tremendously in their learning.
