This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach fourth grade in a rural, low-income area of Northern California.

We are considered a Title I school as the vast majority of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. We also have a high percentage of ESL (English as a Second Language) students.

My Project

Via DonorsChoose, we recently received an all-in-one printer that allows us to scan student work, run copies of important documents for students and parents, and print papers needed for both at-home and school use. It is very important to grab students' attention and provide extra skill practice at the opportune moment. By having this all-in-one printer at our disposal, we have been able to take advantage of the timeliness of situations. This can only continue if we have ink! This proposal is a simple request for ink cartridges for our current printer.

Your donation will enable my students and I to continue using our new printer for a multitude of documents to help both parents and students advance their education.
