My Students

"The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken from hatching the egg, not smashing it." - author unknown. Patience is a hard thing for kindergarten students but it would be so rewarding for them to see the egg hatch!

There are 21 active kindergarteners in my classroom.

We are located in a pre-k through third grade building. Our school is located in a rural setting, and we have a moderate poverty level. My students love to be at school where they get to learn and play.

My Project

With this incubator and life cycle kit, the children will be able to observe the length of the life cycle of a chicken. They will be able to use the life cycle manipulatives to gain a better understanding of the actual development occurring in the eggs.

Your donation to this project will allow my students to see that all living creatures develop through a series of stages.

They will develop a better understanding of how life cycles work.
