My students need 40 copies of "A Chorus Line" so that we can rehearse for and put on a production of this show!!!

My Students

It's really hard to rehearse for a show without scripts...and when you put on a show you have to rent the materials, can only use them in certain ways, and not all students end up even having a script at all.

My students are some of the most amazing young men and women I have ever met.

They come from all over the Tampa Bay area because they have a passion for theatre and want to be at the High School for the performing arts to perfect their craft. They pour out their hearts and souls on a daily basis and work harder than anyone I have ever that the pleasure of knowing!

My Project

By having these copies of A Chorus Line, my students will be able to fully create this story and tell it to thousands of people. They will move mountains and touch and change not only their lives, but the lives of anyone who steps foot into our school and theatre. These scripts will allow us to rehearse for and perform A Chorus Line on our main stage. They will learn an amazing story that is 100% true and it will teach them about the business they hope to work in soon.

This is so important because though my students are talented, money doesn't grow on trees.

Many do not have the financial resources to purchase scripts and learn from them which prevents them from performing these shows. Doing this show and learning and living this story will most definitely change their lives and the lives of all those who come in contact with them!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
