My Students

Each year thousands of students lose abilities in math and reading simply by not engaging in academic activities over the summer.

My students live in Oregon and come from all walks of life.

About two-thirds speak two languages and receive support in learning English. Many live in poverty and have families struggling to meet life's basic needs. Our school works hard to provide all students with a safe and consistent school environment as well as helping the families find social services in the community.

My Project

By providing students with math workbooks in varying levels, I will meet their individual needs over the summer. Many of my students have older siblings that can help the younger student with the work. If I give those families a more advanced work book, then both kids will benefit!

Thank you so much for helping me provide for these families over the summer.

Our goal is for all students to succeed. By giving them supplies and materials to take home, my students will have a better chance of meeting that goal!
