My Students

Do you wish you had another student explain a math problem to you, or show you how to do a science project when you are at home? Have you wondered what you sound like as you read? Have you seen yourself tell a story?

The students in our school love technology.

We also have a very helpful grade level. The students in my class like helping others and work collaboratively with each other on assignments and on projects. We work with technology everyday to help our students prepare for the future. The students in my class are collaborative. Our school is a Title 1 school that tries to be on the cutting edge of teaching and learning.

My Project

Our students want to share how to work out problems in math for other classes. They also want to show the younger students how to work problems. The best way to do this is through short videos that students can watch online or on a class computer. The students would be reviewing concepts while helping other students with those concepts. The students will also be able to read to themselves and view how they sound. As they get better, they will record themselves reading stories to the younger students. In those story videos, they will show pictures and model fluency.

This project will give our students another way to increase their academic skills while helping other students in our school.

This project will impact not only our class, but students in our school and classes in the future.
