My students need a way to make math more fun. I would like to start math centers to reinforce the skills we are teaching in class. I am hoping they will enjoy this.

My Students

Help make math more fun in our classroom! Centers are a fun way to reinforce the same skills being taught but through games and hands on activities.

A Elementary is a school that is 67% poverty (free and reduced lunch), 20% ELL, and has a 20% mobility rate.

A's students are a fabulous group of students who work very hard to learn the required material for each grade level but face many obstacles outside of school.

My Project

A Elementary is a very energetic school full of teachers and students that love to learn. Unfortunately we lack a lot of math resources though. We are always looking for new ways to reach our students to increase their learning. Math centers and the supplies to create these would help in our mission.

I try to instill a love of learning within each of my students.

I do believe that the more fun they have each day makes the information stick with them. I would love to have some math resources in my room that make this possible.
