My Students

"Teaching special education in a low income school can often be challenging, but when the children have the appropriate materials and the will to learn, nothing can stop them!

My students come from a low income, high poverty area.

We try and supply the children with the best we can, be often cannot supply everything the children need to reach their full learning capacity. Often in special education children need many different materials to help them succeed. I am asking you for these materials to help my children succeed.

My Project

My students work very hard to learn each and everyday, but often need sensory items to calm their bodies. These supplemental items help children to relax in order for them to attend lessons. As many special education teachers may know children in this environment need supplemental sensory activities to enhance their capacity of learning.

These sensory materials would help my students calm their bodies, in order for them to attend lessons more effectively.

Items like vests, body weights, and pencil grips would do wonders for these children.
