Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"No lights! Our overhead projector has called it quits!" This has become a phrase heard often in my classroom. The last projector went to the graveyard and I was informed by our media specialist that there are none available, and none will be purchased because it is considered old technology.

My class is a talented and diverse group of fourth graders.

We are an inner city school with a large English as a second language population. They are eager learners and they enjoy being challenged. Many of my students have been identified as gifted and talented.

My Project

Our district is unable to provide us with any new technology and they won't replace the old. The multimedia projector will allow the entire class to see a greater variety of material. My students deserve to have visual information presented to them with the latest technology to achieve fourth grade standards.

My students learn new things daily.

The world is just starting to open up to them. The multimedia projector will allow them to explore all of the things that they are learning. My students are excited by the challenges of learning and the multimedia projector will enhance the learning experience. My students deserve to have the same technology found in more affluent schools.
