My Students

My math students are at high risk and need all of the resources we can provide them. They have been placed in my room due to their struggling ability in Math. Independent centers will help build their confidence and promote learning!

My students are low income students from poor socioeconomic backgrounds.

These students are struggling in Math and need an extra boost of confidence. Providing interactive and fun math centers and manipulatives to our room would give these students an opportunity to independently find math success in a variety of creative ways.

My Project

I have requested a very modest amount of games and centers involving a variety of mathematical problems. The centers we are requesting vary from multiplication and addition, all the way to telling time and measurement! These math centers will help our struggling math classroom come alive with a buzz of creativity and learning! Conventional and old fashioned methods of teaching math solely out of the textbook just will not do! These students need hands-on interactive methods to achieve learning and retention in Math.

It is so important to me and my special students that we receive these hands on tools to promote our confidence and build our knowledge in Math, ultimately leading to higher scores and a lifetime of learning.
