This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Coaching student-athletes is an opportunity to give kids life lessons they may not receive otherwise. We are needing additional equipment to help build our athletes and give them the most sport specific workouts. We teach our student-athletes lessons in health and exercise they can carry with them the rest of their lives. We have seen tremendous growth and ability to build confidence through exercise and we hope more equipment will allow us to be more successfully and reach more student-athletes.

My Project

We as coaches are always trying to make our student-athletes better and stronger in sports and fitness in order to stay competitive with large schools. We also like to focus on injury prevention exercises and these plyometric boxes will be help us do just that. Extracurricular programs are vital to keep our students engaged in school and motivated to succeed. Our athletes are dedicated to us, our programs and our standards and we want to give them the best opportunity to succeed. These will help our athletes become faster and more explosive. These plyometric boxes will also help with injury prevention as they are safe for jumping.
