This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach students, not a subject. I feel it is my duty to find a way to help my students.

I understand that my Sixth Grade students must be exposed to Sixth Grade Mmath.

But in reality, some of my students are struggling and need intervention. Our school purchased SuccessMaker. It's an individualized supplemental instructional computer program, which allows them to receive instruction at their level.

My Project

My students need a Netbook to receive individualized instruction. Having more computers in my classroom, will allow more students to have access to SuccessMaker. The best option at the time, is to be able to get netbooks. A netbook is a small, light and inexpensive computer, which can be connected to our school server wirelessly. This will allow my students to use SuccessMaker anywhere on our campus.

It's simple... all my students need is access to a PC.

Thus, having a Netbook with SuccessMaker can help me provide individualized, targeted instruction to help every student reach their greatest potential.
