My Students

Our classroom library is stocked with many great books but you can help make it better by adding many fresh new books for my students to read and enjoy.

My students attend school in a high-poverty area in Oklahoma.

Ninety-seven percent of my students receive free/reduced lunch. My kids love to read and talk about books. For some of my students, literacy is a challenge. There are far too many children who come to school without a background in learning.

My Project

My students are so excited when I add a new book to the classroom library. With this grant, I would be able to add over 20 books to our classroom library. With this grant, my students would not only receive new, amazing books to read and sticky notes to save their favorite passages, but they will improve their literacy skills as well.

My students need new engaging books to read in our classroom library.

My philosophy on teaching is that successful readers become successful citizens. Please help my students have access to quality, high-interest reading materials.
