My Students

Don't you love to put on your headphones and enjoy your favorite music? My students will love putting on headphones and listening to a favorite story or working on fluency skills in a portable listening center.

Students at our school are enthusiastic learners who appreciate the opportunity to experience different types of learning materials.

Our school has a high English language learning population as well as high poverty. We are a large school in an urban district where resources are limited but need and desire to learn is great.

My Project

My students love to read and experience books. They like to read, but are in serious need of fluency and comprehension practice. The requested resources will provide my student with a portable listening center. In this center they will be able to read leveled passages and even time their reading. My students love to "beat the clock" and track their reading growth. The electronic timers and listening activities will give them that opportunity.

With your support,my students will not only improve their reading skills, but hopefully excel.

Reading is so important to being a successful citizen. Thanks for helping us become successful.
