This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help me instill a love of reading in my students and enable my students to become life long readers.
I'm a first grade teacher of 21 diverse students.
Due to a large population of English language learners, I have a wide range of reading abilities in my classroom. There are students who are learning basic sight words and others the are ready to tackle chapter books. Every student I work with gets so excited by books and learning; whether they can relate to the experiences in the books and are making connections, or, they are learning about something new for the first time.
My Project
Help students become successful and enthusiastic readers with a great selection books for every reading level! These books are ideal for both guided and independent reading, this awesome library includes 80 leveled books making it possible to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of every student in my class.
My goal is to help the students learn to read and increase their reading level.
However, sometimes, a student needs to stay at a level in order to learn new skills before moving forward. This is hard to do with a limited amount of books. I need more leveled books for my students. Your help will allow my students to experience literature at their level. Books along with instruction is what they need to become better readers. By giving books, you will help me help them learn to read and love books
