My Students

Help us remember the road we traveled. My Leadership Classes need two Flip Camcorders to provide documentation.

I teach two Leadership Classes at our high school.

The students in my Leadership Class have a once in a lifetime opportunity presented to them. They are creating and hosting our state's Student Council convention in the Fall of 2011. This is a great honor for my students, our school system, and our small, rural community. The majority of our students come from low income homes.

My Project

When my students stand on the stage in front of 2000 students from across our state during the convention that they created, they will possess feeling of exhilaration and exhaustion. I want my Leadership Class students to embrace the process of creating the convention and to remember every step taken in the journey. The best want to cherish these memories is to document the process with Flip Camcorders. The Flip Camcorders are user friendly enough that the students can easily utilize them. Being a part of this convention creation will better prepare my students for life after high school from college to future career choices.
