Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Paper and pencils are known to be a basic need in a classroom.

My students and I are located in a high need area in New York.

My students are bright and passionate about their education and culture. My school's principal, administrators and teachers are dedicated towards educating and meeting every student’s needs.

My Project

Due to the city's budget cuts, paper and pencils are no longer considered a basic need in the classroom but a luxury to have. My students and I would be thankful if you could grant this necessity. With these tools I will be able to provide my students with activity sheets and unit exams. My students will have a supply of pencils for when they need them.

It saddens me that our country's economic crisis has teachers asking for someone to donate pencils and paper.

I would really appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to provide my students with this void that unfortunately exists. THANK YOU!
